MEET MELISSA SCHOTT:

Melissa’s national credits include CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’S BANANA SHPEEL, choreographed by Jared Grimes and directed by David Shiner, and Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS, choreographed by Tony Award Winning Choreographer, Randy Skinner, and directed by Tony Award Winning Director, Walter Bobbie. Locally, favorite roles include Peggy in Footlite’s 42ND STREET, Patsy Cline in ACT’s ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE, and Millie in Indianapolis Civic Theatre’s THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. Recording for MTI’s Broadway Jr. and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Theatricals has found her playing Ruth in THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, Violet Beauregarde and Mrs. Gloop in WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, and The Witch in INTO THE WOODS. Recently, she was excited to join Music K-8 Magazine as Choreographer for musical projects nationwide. Melissa is Director of Dance Connection, The IndyChannel A-List’s 2011 Best Dance Studio In Indianapolis. MEET LYN SIGMAN:

Lyn is a native New Yorker and no stranger to the stage. She was an original member of the Off-Broadway hit, MAMA, I WANT TO SING and later moved on to Broadway with DREAMGIRLS. She was also a member of the National and International touring companies of DREAMGIRLS, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and CATS. Lyn has sung backup for Jennifer Holliday, Melba Moore, Bob Dylan, Lilo Thomas, Miles Jaye and Freddie Jackson. In Indiana Lyn now sings with The Eastern Star Church Choir, Praise & Worship Team. Once a year she can be seen in the Passion Play, UPON THIS ROCK at Clowes. Lyn thanks God for her talents and gifts to share and her family for their support.

MEET KARLTON D. TURNER:

Karlton is pleased to be sharing the spotlight with Indy’s finest. He’s been seen in over 30 productions in and around the city. Karlton has also been blessed to perform nationally and internationally. Among all his many roles and credits, his favorites are still those of husband to Kayra and father Kaylen & Ahryiele. Karlton thanks God for His many blessings and his family for their continued support and Bob Harbin for being his brother. (Director’s note: it is always my blessing to have Brother Turner on stage and in my life.)

MEET MIKAYLA ANNE REED:

Mikayla has performed in numerous shows in the Indianapolis area. Favorite roles: Narrator (JOSEPH…), Eva Peron (EVITA), Amneris (AIDA), and Audrey (LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS) at the Tarkington Civic Theatre. She also originated the role of Veneera Glossover in the Phoenix s original production of THE ZIPPERS OF ZOOMERVILLE and played Sister Robert Anne in NUNSENSE with ATI. Other shows include Nancy (OLIVER) and Rizzo (GREASE). Mikayla was a founding member and president of Miami University s female a cappella group, The Misfitz. She is married to the talented lighting and set designer, Ryan Koharchik, and she sends many thanks to her supportive family. Merry Christmas!

MEET MATT PATTERSON:

Matt is celebrating his second appearance with Bobdirex at the Athenaeum. He was cast as ‘Pan’ in last summer’s BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL at Footlite. Favorite roles, ‘Hero’ in FORUM, ‘Capt. Walker’ in TOMMY, ‘Capt. Hook’ in PETER PAN, and ‘Claude’ in HAIR. Matt has received numerous awards from the National Association of Teachers of Singing for classical and musical theatre performance and 2 Encore Nominations here in Indy. Matt would like to thank Bob, this incredible cast and family, friends for supporting him in all things. Enjoy the show!!

MEET KATY GENTRY: 

Katy is thrilled to be back on the Indianapolis stage working alongside a cast and crew that is just overflowing with talent. Her most recent credits include RING OF FIRE (Original Cast) with Fireside Dinner Theater and Circa  21 Playhouse. Her favorite roles include Sister Amnesia (NUNSENSE), Judy Garland (BEYOND THE RAINBOW), and Cheryl (THE TAFFETAS). Ms. Gentry is an elementary teacher with Hamilton Southeastern Schools and is currently seeking her MAE Special Education and ABA Certification.
