Matt finds himself in Indianapolis after being born in Philadelphia. He attended Pike High School and spends his non-theatre moments saving lives as a life guard. Recently you may have seen Matt at the Children’s Museum (“Winnie the Pooh”) or at IRT (“Holes”) and now on his first trip to the Athenaeum Theatre. DO NOT CUT THEATRE FROM INDIANA SCHOOLS !!

Meet The Cast of Camp Rock: Kyle Mottinger

Kyle is pretty darn happy to be in the Bobdirex production of Camp Rock, The Musical. A recent graduate of Lawrence North, Kyle plans on attending Ball State University to study philosophy. Recently, you may have seen Kyle onstage as Fagin in Oliver or George Gibbs in the Thorton Wilder classic Our Town. In his free time, Kyle likes to play guitar. Much thanks to Stacy Embry for her inspiration and motivation to pursue the beautiful art that we call theatre.

Meet The Cast of Camp Rock: Darren Gowan

Darrin is an estate planning attorney, but the roles of which he is most proud are those of husband (Darla, for 23 years) and father (Dayne-19, Derric-16). Darrin’s second appearance at the Athenaeum with BOBDIREX, having earlier enjoyed his time in Victor/Victoria, and he is an active participant in area theatre. He has appeared at Footlite Musicals (The Pajama Game, Miss Saigon), Indianapolis Civic Theatre (Smokey Joe’s Café, Evita), and Theatre on the Square (Mid-Life! The Crisis Musical, The Great American Trailer Park Musical). Darrin is also fond of the many other cast “families” he has known at Carmel Community Players, The Artist’s Studio, Edyvean Repertory Theatre, and The Belfry.

Meet The Cast of Camp Rock: Dylan Kelley

Dylan will be a sophomore at Franklin Central High School, He will be entering his second year in FC show and concert choirs. Camp Rock will be the first production he has been in outside of school, he was featured as Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls. And he was also a member of the chorus in ‘Little Shop of Horrors.’ He is having a great time at Camp Rock and loves all of his fellow campers. And he especially loves seeing Uncle Bob’s smiling face everyday.

Meet the Cast of Camp Rock: Samuel McKinney

Sam is geeked to be in a Bobdirex show again since playing in “The Wiz” (Gatekeeper). He attended Anderson University where he studied Psychology and Education but took a brief hiatus this past semester to chase his dreams of performing. Favorite theatre credits include: Gilbert in Hairspray (Beef & Boards), Angel Dumott Schunard in RENT (Indianapolis Civic Theater), Mereb in Aida (Theatre on the Square), and J. Pierpont Finch in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (North Central High School). Contrary to popular belief, Sam enjoys green eggs and ham. Much love and thanks to God, family, friends, and most of all, Uncle Bob. Without him, another credible theatre experience would be lost. Thanks for supporting the arts and enjoy !

Meet the Cast of Camp Rock: Andy Raab

Andy will be a sophomore at Lawrence North High School, and hopes to have a lifelong connection with musical theater. This will be his16th theater production, and first with “Uncle Bob”. Favorite roles include: Evan in 13 the Musical and The Artful Dodger in Oliver! with the Carmel Repertory Theater and Chip in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Artist’s Studio in Fishers. In his spare time, Andy likes to play trumpet and piano, read and participate in sports. Andy would like to thank Bob for the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people, his parents for always loving and supporting him, his brothers for putting up with his crazy antics and Kyle for his continuous transportation.

Meet more of Camp Rock: Marcie Smith (Stage Manager)

Marcie is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. This is her first time working at the Atheneum and she couldn’t be more thrilled. Marcie recently completed a season long stage management internship at the Florida Repertory Theatre. She was involved in many productions both on stage and off at the Indianapolis Civic Theatre. Other credits in stage management include the Diaghilev Ballet, and the Martha Graham Tribute at Indiana University where she completed her stage management degree.

Meet the Cast of Camp Rock: Nina Weathersbee

Nina also know as the “bow girl” is an 18 year old, 2011 graduate of Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana. While attending Anderson High School she was active in both show choirs and served as dance captain. Nina was also involved in Wind Ensemble, Symphonic band, marching band, pep band and the Indiana All-Star Marching Band. She is also a member of Indiana’s Ambassadors of Music. This is Nina’s very first production and is grateful to work under Bob Harbin as she follows in her Uncle Karlton’s footsteps. Nina would like thank God for blessing her with her many talents. She would also like to thank “Uncle Karlton” for introducing her to theatre and a very special thanks to “Uncle Bob” for allowing her this opportunity!

Meet the Cast of Camp Rock: Alexandria Warfield

Alexandria is extremely excited for this rare opportunity to be able to perform under the leadership of “Uncle Bob”. She just finished her sophomore year at DePauw University, declared herself a Music Education Major/Saxophone and hopes to make a career out of teaching or performing. She’s involved in the DePauw University Concert Band and DePauwCappella. This is only her second show, the first being “Working – The Musical” (Lovin Al). She wants to thank Bob for giving her this amazing opportunity to develop as a performer, her parents for the encouragement to be the best musician that she can be, and all of her friends and family for the love an support they show her every day.

Meet the Cast of Camp Rock: David G. Terry

David is thrilled to be a part of Camp Rock this summer and is excited to be returning for his third show at the Anthenaeum! David is a 2011 graduate from DePauw University, where he earned his degree in Musical Arts as well as a Minor in Theatre/Communications. Some of his favorite shows that he has been in include Tommy, Jekylle and Hyde, A Funny Thing Happened…, Laramie Project, High School Musical, and How To Succeed… While in school David performed with DePauw’s step and dance crew, XCELL, as well as studied street style dance at studios such as Alvin Ailey, Steps on Broadway, and Pineapple studios in London. David is so thankful to be part of such a great show with an awesome cast and an amazing creative team, making this experience so enjoyable. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support and Bob Harbin for this wonderful opportunity!
