“God, the almighty and all-knowing, has misplaced a cup?” And so, the search for the Holy Grail begins. “Monty Python’s Spamalot” is a musical comedy “lovingly ripped off from” the 1975 film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail and spoofs everything there is to love about musical theatre. The original 2005 Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including ‘Best Musical’ and received 14 Tony Award nominations. And so, the search for the equally exciting Indianapolis cast begins. All positions paid!!!
WHEN: Sunday, January 20 from 6pm – 9pm
WHERE: First Congregational Church, 7171 North Pennsylvania, Indianapolis, IN 46240
SEEKING: Men, all shapes and colors, 18 to 50 who can sing, dance (especially tap) and do comedy in an English accent. We have a king, knights, and knaves. Please bring 16 bars of your favorite belt song from any Broadway show including this one. Be prepared to do a 1 to 2 minute comedic monologue with an English accent and to dance a bit of this and that. A pianist will be provided and the audition will be monitored by Mr. Bob Harbin, director; Mr. Zach Rosing, producer; Mr. Trevor Fanning, musical director and Mr. Kenny Shepard, choreographer.
Be prepared to provide information regarding any and all conflicts you may have before the opening date of June 14.
Women, “Lady of the Lake” has been cast with Claire Wilcher.

Nathan is a recent graduate of Ball State University, and is honored to be a part of Country Christmas. Nathan has been performing for nearly 15 years and is very excited to be joining his band, Rutherford, and the rest of the cast for a great show this year! Vicki hails from Fairview Heights, IL with gigs alongside of Stubby Kaye and Billie Byrd. A move to Los Angeles cast her in life with husband Jes, who she’s performed with since. Vicki has had credits in movies and television including New York based Curb Your Enthusiasm. She now performs with Indy groups HEAVENLY MAMBO (on sale in lobby) & JES RICHMOND BAND. Vicki debuted at the Athenaeum in Divas II with Bob Harbin and is thrilled to be back for Country Christmas. (BOBDIREX is proud and lucky to have her back!!)
Logan is very pleased to be making his debut with BOBDIREX. He is a junior theatre performance major at Butler University where he has been seen in various productions such as: Bali Dream (Demetrius), Tartuffe (Damis), Danny and the Deep Blue Sea (Danny), Priest and the Prostitute (Priest), Tempest (Ferdinand and Caliban), As You Like It (Oliver). Logan’s recent productions include Footlite Musicals’ The Rocky Horror Show (Rocky Horror) and RENT (Roger). and NoExit’s Theban Plays of Sophocles. Logan would like to thank Bob for taking a chance on him and his fabulous direction and attitude. He’d also like to thank his family and friends that keep him going, and Ryan Mullins for bringing his name up in a conversation.
KT is happy to be singing again, after a hiatus. Recent writing work includes 7:32 at the New York Music Theater Festival, Mr. Boniface the Wise at Judson Memorial Church, and M’s Teeth at Bushwick Starr in Brooklyn through ForgeSmith Lab. Current projects include a period rabies farce, Richmond Park, and a novel (in progress) called
Dave is very happy to return to the Athenaeum for Christmas. He’s been in other Bob Harbin productions: he was Jerry in The Full Monty, King in Victor/Victoria, and Coach Bolton in High School Musical, and appeared in two other Christmas shows. Back in the 20th Century he was a resident performer of The American Cabaret Theatre here at the Athenaeum. Other roles in the city include: Dave in When Pigs Fly at TOTS, Reverend Hightower in Batboy! The Musical at the Phoenix, and Ralph Sheldrake in White Christmas at Beef and Boards. He’s a founding member of ComedySportz Indianapolis. He’s the Senior Marketing Manager at Indiana Repertory Theatre.
Rebecca is a senior at Ball State University and is excited to be a part of Country Christmas. She has always loved to be on stage and has been lucky enough to perform with the University Singers. Rebecca is currently performing with the band Rutherford. She would like to thank Bob Harbin for the opportunity to sing two of her favorite types of music, her family, friends, her fiancé, Nathan Wilson, and the rest of the cast. Happy holidays to all!
